RedCompass Labs is proud to be taking a public step towards transforming our world and is committed to complying with the UNGC Ten Principles and continuously supporting the UN Sustainable Development Goals. As a Participant of the United Nations Global Compact, RedCompass Labs will closely collaborate with the UN Global Compact Network UK to develop and implement sustainability strategies across four core areas – Human Rights; Labour; the Environment; and Anti-Corruption.
“Such joint movement towards greater sustainability aligns well with our promise to not only to open the doors of finance to all but also protect those who enter. We strive to promote financial inclusion, and fight modern slavery, human trafficking and child sexual exploitation from within our industry, therefore having a positive impact on our communities and helping them grow”, said Tom Hewson, partner of RedCompass Labs.
“The core of the United Nations Global Compact’s mission is to support companies doing business responsibly by aligning their strategies and operations with ten universal principles on human rights, labour, environment, and anti-corruption,” said Steve Kenzie, the Executive Director of UN Global Compact Network UK. “We also support businesses taking actions to advance the Sustainable Development Goals. So, we are delighted and encouraged by RedCompass Labs’ endorsement of our initiative.”
RedCompass Labs has long contributed towards a sustainable future, so becoming a UNGC Participant marks another step in its long-term corporate agenda. While implementing diversity, equality, and inclusion (DEI) principles across its own organization, RedCompass Labs also supports financial institutions in the fight against financial crime. Their collaboration with NGOs to empower vulnerable communities further prompts collective action and dedication to advance sustainable development.
